Jackie Grassmann is an artist and writer based in Berlin. Her texts take shape in various media, such as printed matter, installation, performative readings, and video. In her work she is interweaving auto-fictional strategies with theoretical and socio-critical elements. In pursuit of a post-genius notion of authorship and the idea of consequential relationality, working in various collective constellations or in a dialogical form is at the core of her artistic practice. With her collective GAS she recently exhibited the collective novel project GAS – eine kontinuierliche Reise in zehn Entgleisungen funded by the Berlin Senat at KM Berlin and Kunstverein Rosa Luxemburg. She also facilitates participatory collective writing formats, most recently at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg. 

Sarah Lehnerer is an artist based in Berlin. In her works, which use elements of the poetic and the textual, she experiments with methods of recording and research as well as with a long-standing personal image archive. The significance of reproduction, both technological and social - ergo the “translation of the everyday” into artistic work - plays a central role in her work. In her artistic writing, Lehnerer deals with feminist writing strategies, processes of memory and translation and the politics of polyphony. Her most recent publication “Fireflies in the Dark. Letters on Ambiguities” brings together excerpts from an ongoing digital correspondence with the artist Jackie Grassmann. She exhibited at Kunstverein Göttingen, Neuer Essener Kunstverein, Biennale für Freiburg, Manifesta 2018 and ZKM Karlsruhe, amongst others and she is co-organizer of Texte zum Nachdenken since 2023. https://www.textezumnachdenken.com/
